About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, review and support the timely submission of Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, intrastat, 349, IGIC and other statutory tax filings
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting activities, including current and deferred tax calculations
  • Perform tax account reconciliations and analyze tax-related balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Maintain complete, accurate and auditable tax records and supporting documentation
  • Identify tax risks and support implementation of mitigating controls
  • Provide tax advice and guidance to Finance, Accounting, HR, Procurement and Business teams
  • Support tax audits, inspections and information requests from tax authorities
  • Participate in process improvement, digitalization and automation initiatives within the tax function
  • Contribute to tax awareness and education activities for key stakeholders
  • Provide support for General Ledger processes and month-end activities
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, HR, external advisors, auditors and tax authorities
  • Contribute to protecting DLL’s tax integrity and reputation while supporting optimization of the company’s fiscal position

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Tax or Tax Advisory
  • Experience working in an international business environment is preferred
  • Solid understanding of corporate taxation, indirect taxes and withholding taxes
  • Strong accounting knowledge, including financial statements, general ledger structures and tax accounting concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Professional written and verbal English skills is a must
  • Hiring subject to successful completion of a background check
  • The selection process may involve an assessment
