Key responsibilities & impact

Consolidate monthly payroll inputs from multiple sources, submit data to external providers, audit final reports, and coordinate with Treasury for funding and salary payments
Resolve employee queries through Jira, Slack, and email, including payroll discrepancies, tax logic, and labor rights
Prepare consolidated payroll reports for Accounting and FP&A, track variances, and ensure payroll-impact accuracy
Review and update labor documentation, including localized contract clauses and country-specific requirements
Manage social security and tax payments
Maintain standard operating procedures for all countries for process continuity and audit readiness
Manage regional operational requirements, including statutory reporting, localized labor contracts, tax regime changes, and statutory contributions
Partner with PBPs on disciplinary actions and PIPs
Manage end-to-end offboarding, including exit agreements and coordination with legal counsel on claims or lawsuits

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in Payroll, People Operations, HR Operations, or a related field, ideally in a multi-country or global environment
Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax compliance, labor laws, and statutory reporting
Ability to reconcile payroll data, audit provider outputs, and resolve discrepancies
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience supporting employee queries through Jira, Zendesk, Slack, or email
Ability to work with legal teams, labor counsel, or PBPs on disciplinary actions, PIPs, and offboarding processes
Ability to manage multiple countries, providers, and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in high-growth international companies (nice-to-have)
Familiarity with Latin America and EMEA labor legislation (nice-to-have)
Knowledge of automation, AI tools, or workflow optimization, such as AI copilots, RPA, Zapier, or data automation tools (nice-to-have)
Prior exposure to process improvement or operational excellence initiatives (nice-to-have)
