About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and build a repeatable data collection and reporting methodology in SharePoint and Power BI
  • Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations for PMO leadership and federal stakeholders
  • Build and administer SharePoint Lists, libraries, and views
  • Automate review intake, scoring capture, finding logging, and status notifications using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Author monthly, quarterly, executive, and weekly quality status reports
  • Analyze review results for trends, recurring defect patterns, and root causes
  • Translate findings into prioritized process improvement recommendations
  • Reconcile published metrics against source records, including quality control workbooks and Jira tracking queues
  • Perform quality control reviews of project artifacts across project management lifecycle phases
  • Support phase gate and pre-brief governance reviews during peak review cycles
  • Produce and maintain SOPs, reporting data dictionaries, user guides, and review checklists in Confluence and SharePoint
  • Participate in calibration and peer reviews
  • Collaborate with federal project managers to explain findings, clarify compliance standards, and track corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or quality analysis supporting a program management office, IT governance function, or compliance organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; an additional four years of directly relevant analytical or quality assurance experience may substitute for the degree
  • Hands-on experience building Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX measures, and connections to SharePoint and Excel data sources
  • Hands-on experience designing and administering SharePoint Lists and libraries, including calculated columns, views, permissions, and list-based data structures used for operational reporting
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup and array formulas, and maintenance of complex scoring or evaluation workbooks
  • Experience writing analytical reports for a government or executive audience that interpret data and recommend action
  • Experience reviewing documentation or deliverables against defined quality, compliance, or audit criteria and documenting findings
  • Working knowledge of project and program management lifecycle concepts and governance artifacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
  • Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for review tracking, workflow configuration, and knowledge base publication
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project schedules and schedule health concepts
  • Prior support to a federal or legislative branch program management office, or experience applying GAO, ISO 9001, or PMBOK-based quality management frameworks
  • Technical writing experience producing standard operating procedures, process guides, or reporting data dictionaries for a government customer
  • Relevant certification such as PL-300, PL-900, CBAP, ITIL Foundation, or PMP
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
