About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate unloading and verify shipping documents
Ensure correct storage in the high-bay warehouse
Prioritise chilled deliveries and cross-dock shipments
Direct internal material flow efficiently and prevent bottlenecks
Lead the inbound logistics team in daily operations
Onboard new colleagues
Build a productive and motivated team environment
Ensure compliance with quality standards
Document discrepancies accurately
Coordinate continuously with Outbound, Purchasing, and Quality Management
Maintain smooth and punctual flow of products into the high-bay warehouse
Take ownership of a cost-effective and customer-centric inbound workflow

Requirements

What you’ll need

Vocational or Bachelor's working/thinking level, or solid, proven leadership experience in a logistics environment
Thorough experience in goods receipt
Experience working with warehouse management systems, specifically SAP
Experience with MS Office
Good communication skills in English
Strong command of either Dutch or German
Willingness to work a 2-shift schedule
Willingness to work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every four weeks
Process-oriented mindset and ability to quickly grasp cross-departmental connections (nice-to-have)
