About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, edit, and prepare NDAs, Professional Services Agreements, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, License Agreements, and Amendments
  • Develop and refine contract templates, clauses, and processes
  • Manage contract creation, execution, management, renewal, and termination
  • Manage contract workflow requests and communicate with submitters to capture and address details
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation
  • Monitor contract performance and adherence to terms and conditions
  • Facilitate communication between parties involved in contract agreements
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, information technology, compliance, and finance departments
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for contract information and answer basic contract questions
  • Participate in gap assessments, compliance reviews, support engagements, weekly department meetings, and daily briefings
  • Perform administrative work such as preparing letters, forms, correspondence, and maintaining corporate registrations
  • Develop and enhance workflows for contract process improvement
  • Assist the Compliance and Risk Management Department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or comparable experience in a law firm, legal department, or similar environment
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Highly proficient in DocuSign or similar electronic signing software
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Solid understanding of databases
  • Experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts
  • Experience involving contract management, paralegal services, or comparable legal department/in-house work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • Ability to work independently, identify priorities, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must be able to pass a Federal background check
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment
  • Must complete security and privacy requirements and specific FedRAMP training
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
  • If traveling, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • If traveling, ability to travel unassisted via common carrier and/or personal auto
