About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reshape data foundations, including multi-tenancy, retention, and data contracts with backend services
- Evaluate and shape the warehouse architecture, including Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, or other options
- Unify operational databases, Amplitude product analytics, and S3-based partner integrations
- Build platform observability for lineage, freshness, and meaningful alerting
- Own trustworthy reporting used by finance, operations, and the board
- Collaborate directly with backend, product, and finance teams
- Influence how data is produced upstream as well as consumed downstream
- Use AI for pipeline boilerplate, schema generation, transformation logic, and exploratory analysis
- Help rebuild and reshape the data platform from its foundations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience designing and running data platforms in production
- Fluent in Python and SQL
- Strong knowledge of Postgres and its use as a warehouse
- Experience with dbt or equivalent and data modelling, including staging, marts, and tests
- Working knowledge of managed warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
- Ability to work with data contracts as a product problem and communicate this to backend engineers
- Daily use of AI tools and ability to explain how they are used
- GDPR fluency expected
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare data experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Patientdatalagen is a bonus
- Must already have the right to work in Sweden
- Swedish is a strong plus; English is the working language within tech
