About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own positioning and messaging for assigned products and use cases, including investigation, threat hunting, fraud and brand protection, detection enrichment, and API-first data consumption
- Write narratives for SOC analysts, threat hunters, CISOs, and SOC Directors
- Maintain the messaging framework across the website, sales team, partners, and campaigns
- Translate technical product capabilities into buyer language
- Plan and run go-to-market activities for product launches and major releases
- Define launch audiences, narratives, assets, enablement plans, and success measures
- Translate the roadmap into an executable launch calendar
- Own the AI and agentic SOC narrative, including MCP Server and AI-native workflows
- Build sales enablement assets including first-call decks, solution briefs, battle cards, talk tracks, objection handlers, demo narratives, and proof points
- Train sales and solutions engineering on positioning, competitive differentiation, and product demonstrations
- Join competitive deals, strategic accounts, and other situations requiring positioning leadership
- Equip resellers and technology partners with messaging for their buyers and go-to-market motions
- Track buyer evaluation of DomainTools data and intelligence against competing solutions
- Run regular win/loss and competitive reviews and share findings with Product and Sales
- Represent DomainTools in analyst conversations, partner briefings, and market-facing activities
- Partner with Research and Content on thought leadership based on adversary infrastructure
- Produce or direct web copy, solution pages, blog posts, customer stories, and proof content
- Build evidence including customer outcomes, third-party validation, investigation time benchmarks, and use-case proof points
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in B2B product marketing
- Meaningful experience in cybersecurity; threat intelligence, DNS or domain data, fraud, security analytics, or SOC-facing products is a strong plus
- Portfolio demonstrating messaging, a launch, and sales assets, including battle cards, briefs, and decks
- Ability to make technical products understandable without oversimplifying them
- Experience with enterprise security cycles, including intelligence buyers and API-based data vendors
- Cybersecurity fluency sufficient to brief a sales engineer or threat intelligence analyst
- Genuine curiosity and point of view on AI in security operations and agentic SOC workflows
- Clear, confident writing skills
- Cross-functional experience working with Product, Sales, Research, and Demand Generation
- Hands-on experience with investigative or threat intelligence platforms is a strong plus
- Experience marketing API or data products is a strong plus
- Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and LLM integration in SOC operations is a strong plus
- Experience with technology partner or reseller ecosystems, particularly SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or TIP platforms, is a strong plus
- Analyst-relations or partner-marketing exposure is a strong plus
- Familiarity with SOC, fraud, or brand protection buying groups is a strong plus
- Experience marketing to or within the public sector or federal government is a strong plus
