About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze historical and current financial and operational data to understand the company's financial position.
Collect, validate, and consolidate data from trustworthy internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports that give leadership real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare financial performance reports tailored to the needs of leadership.
Develop predictive financial models and forecasting tools that automate data analysis and support organizational decision-making.
Study and analyze trends, forecasts, and market benchmarks to inform recommended actions.
Analyze processes and data flows to identify gaps and opportunities to improve profit margins.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that enable management teams to make strategic decisions and meet business goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as lateral thinking.
Great presentation skills & eloquence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Organization & prioritizing skills.
2 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics or statistics.
A good knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts).
Strong finance, analytical and accounting skills.
Hands-on knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and source validation.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to present findings clearly to non-financial audiences.
Very good operational and problem-solving skills, accompanied by a hands-on approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek.
