About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate preparation and organization of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
- Maintain a structured and auditable electronic filing system for reporting periods
- Execute assigned monthly reporting requirements accurately and meet deadlines
- Review reporting deliverables for completeness, compliance, and organizational alignment
- Monitor and manage the central reporting email inbox
- Respond to internal and external inquiries professionally and promptly
- Prioritize urgent reporting communications and route requests to appropriate departments
- Configure, update, and maintain reporting requirements in Adobe Workfront
- Audit reporting tasks for current due dates, submission contacts, and compliance documentation
- Create, launch, and maintain annual recurring reporting tasks and projects
- Retrieve bank statements and assist with journal entries and audit preparation for Property Accounting
- Process mail, deposit checks, scan paper statements, and provide administrative support to the Property Accounting Team and Dallas Corporate office
- Compile receipts, invoices, and documentation for Replacement Reserve package preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Sound judgment and strong problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Accurate and efficient 10-key data entry skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
