About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage assigned human resources by evaluating performance and results, identifying training needs, conducting onboarding and professional retention initiatives, and identifying profiles aligned with Grupo Mercantil’s strategic objectives
- Develop team members individually through ongoing support, guidance, training, and mentoring to improve performance and develop future leaders
- Provide direct reports with ongoing feedback through one-on-one meetings, aligning expectations regarding behaviors, deliverables, and objectives
- Manage expectations and respond to requests from client departments, ensuring retention and satisfaction
- Maintain existing client relationships, identify new staffing opportunities, and increase revenue within the same account
- Anticipate clients’ technical needs and proactively propose staffing solutions
- Manage time banks, overtime, and vacation requests for subordinate employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading teams in the development of IT solutions and projects
- Experience with management models based on performance monitoring through productivity, efficiency, engagement, and results indicators
- Experience in account management or technical sales, preferably in the IT or outsourcing industry
- Experience with project management and Agile methodologies
- Experience managing teams and restructuring team organizations
- Experience with IT infrastructure
- Experience working with development efficiency metrics and preparing and monitoring KPIs
- An MBA in IT Management, Project Management, Agile Methodologies, or People Management is a plus
- Experience with banking systems is a plus
