About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and enhance a data reconciliation platform
- Improve performance, scalability, and user experience
- Develop reconciliation features, filters, pagination, exports, and AWS integrations
- Enhance ETL pipelines with a focus on filtering, joins, deduplication, and aggregation
- Optimize the reading and writing of CSV, Parquet, and Gzip files
- Design and operate PostgreSQL persistence, including schemas, indexes, and queries
- Implement caching, pagination, and server-side sorting for large datasets
- Ensure processing stability and scalability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with full-stack development
- Backend development in Python with FastAPI
- Experience with ETL pipelines and data reconciliation
- Processing large volumes of data with Polars, pandas, or DuckDB
- Persistence and metadata management in PostgreSQL
- File and result storage in AWS S3
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence
- Frontend development with React and TypeScript
- Experience with data grids, filters, and server-side pagination
- Experience tuning ETL processes and handling data at scale
- PostgreSQL modeling and optimization, including indexes, EXPLAIN, vacuum, and analysis
- Familiarity with job-oriented architectures and queues
