About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead financial planning and build out Business Intelligence
Create, maintain, and further develop integrated financial plans covering the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
Conduct regular budget-versus-actual comparisons and variance analyses
Build and manage the BI landscape
Prepare financial and operational metrics for executive management
Collaborate with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Supply Chain Management
Analyze marketing KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, and CLV
Analyze supply chain metrics such as inventory coverage, logistics costs, and contribution margins
Optimize margins and processes based on data
Automate data flows and reporting using Oracle NetSuite, Google Sheets, and relational databases
Report to the FP&A / Controlling Team Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3–5 years of professional experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Business Intelligence within an e-commerce, D2C, or retail scale-up
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets and experience with modern BI tools
Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite is a plus
Deep understanding of e-commerce KPIs, marketing efficiency, and working capital management
Experience with AI automation and agentic workflows in Finance
Strong analytical thinking
Highly hands-on approach to working with raw data
Ability to communicate complex financial results clearly and effectively
Business-fluent German and English
