About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Diagnose electrical defects using electrical schematics and troubleshooting tools
  • Perform electrical root cause analysis on Bobcat compact equipment
  • Work with engineering groups to contain defects and initiate corrective actions
  • Update standard work and support ECN implementation
  • Document electrical defects, root causes, and resolutions with Quality Engineering
  • Assist in training operators on standard work and best practices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve electrical routings and installation procedures
  • Evaluate parts and processes for conformance to standard work and best practices
  • Execute improvements or communicate findings to appropriate teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 0–2 years of experience
  • Less than 10% travel required
  • Knowledge of reading electronic diagrams and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Strong electrical/electronic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use vehicle diagnostic tools preferred
  • Basic understanding of construction equipment operation and components
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to follow written and oral work instructions
