About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform hands-on maintenance and repair services on fuel cell installations at customer sites
- Participate in commissioning new fuel cells at new sites
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair existing fuel cell installations
- Perform service and troubleshooting on ancillary equipment used for fuel cell operation
- Utilize fuel cell remote monitoring systems to control fuel cells as directed
- Use electrical schematics to troubleshoot electrical components
- Operate and maintain the company vehicle
- Submit company expense reports in a timely manner
- Travel domestically and overseas as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-6+ years of hands-on experience servicing/troubleshooting products containing a variety of electrical and mechanical components
- AA/AS with 2-4+ years of experience, as noted above
- Electrical/HVAC trade school certification
- E1/E2 or P1/P2 license preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and fuel processing systems
- Training and experience with troubleshooting systems
- Relevant trades training and experience
- Experience with computer systems
- Understanding of large distribution switchgear 480-volt systems
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical componentry, plumbing, and systems operation
- Ability to travel domestically and overseas as needed
- Ability to work required overtime
