About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to sustainability efforts such as metals recycling and responsible material use
- Assist with process development, supplier engagement, project management, and AI integration
- Support projects involving material analysis, battery and engine compliance, and sustainability
- Analyze industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product compliance and sustainability
- Research and monitor national and international laws, regulations, and certification requirements
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to chemical usage, emissions, industry standards, and extended producer responsibility
- Maintain accurate compliance and sustainability records and databases
- Generate reports and summaries communicating findings and recommendations
- Assist in developing and implementing product sustainability strategies and initiatives
- Assist with life cycle assessments, product carbon footprints, and environmental product documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical, Material, Metallurgical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility
