About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage supply chain activities including material planning, purchase order management, logistics management, and supplier relationships
Analyze, plan, schedule, and order materials on time
Manage inventory levels to maximize operational efficiency and working capital
Manage purchase orders through the entire procure-to-pay cycle
Evaluate, select, and recommend logistical methods
Maintain supplier relationships and facilitate supplier partnerships
Analyze and execute inventory optimization based on forecasts, customer requirements, and business direction
Collaborate with management and cross-functional decision-makers to ensure uninterrupted material supply
Manage inter-plant stock requests and order adjustments
Maintain safety stock levels and minimize obsolescence
Schedule and implement part change notices
Communicate supply chain concerns regarding build plans and customer requirements
Analyze system parameters to identify demand variances
Process purchase orders, confirm and monitor deliveries, and expedite orders
Resolve procure-to-pay, invoice, and delivery discrepancies; analyze root causes and determine corrective actions
Determine cost-effective inventory transportation methods
Solicit freight options and quotes
Liaise with suppliers, facilitate escalations, and manage supplier performance
Provide customer support for supplier relationship systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience allowed
Equivalent experience in the supply chain accepted in lieu of degree
Experience required: 0 >10 years
Less than 10% travel required
High degree of fluency in Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Ability to execute/deliver results
