About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop tests to evaluate functionality and performance
  • Determine and test necessary components
  • Determine loads and conditions to be applied, including voltage, temperature, and vibration
  • Determine physical parameters and monitoring methods
  • Operate machines or simulators under controlled conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ability to commit to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Travel required: less than 10%
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Knowledge of drafting software preferred (ProE/Creo or SolidWorks)
  • Project management skills preferred
