About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain web, server-side, and mobile applications using modern .NET technologies.
Develop scalable applications, REST APIs, integrations, and services deployed on cloud platforms.
Build features for web portals, mobile applications, manufacturing plant solutions, and collaboration platforms.
Integrate applications with ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and third-party platforms.
Participate in developing artificial intelligence-based solutions, including ML, OCR, computer vision, NLP, and generative AI.
Develop Power BI dashboards and data-driven business solutions.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, software testing, and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in Costa Rica and the United States using Lean Agile methodologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement, code quality, and software development best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern web development.
Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud-based applications, and systems integration.
Experience using Git, Visual Studio and/or VS Code, software testing, and modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud-based development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in agile environments.
Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing).
Preferred: Knowledge of frontend development and cross-platform mobile applications.
Preferred: Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and LLM- or RAG-based applications.
Preferred: Knowledge of data, analytics, Power BI, and business intelligence.
Preferred: Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM), manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Graph).
Preferred: Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Microsoft development technologies.
