About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own brand positioning and go-to-market narratives for assigned brands
  • Translate core messages, audience storylines, and editorial priorities into materials for advertising clients
  • Lead conversations with editorial teams to identify initiatives, tentpoles, franchises, and content opportunities
  • Package editorial opportunities into advertiser-ready programs aligned with brand DNA and business priorities
  • Partner strategically with Sales, Sales Marketing, Account Strategy, Content Strategy, Design, and Research
  • Roll out new materials and opportunities internally
  • Support sales conversations as needed
  • Ensure assigned brands remain top of mind
  • Manage timelines and prioritize deliverables
  • Maintain high standards for storytelling and presentation quality
  • Improve the efficiency and consistency of the brand marketing process across assigned workstreams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 7–9 years of relevant experience in brand marketing, pre-sale marketing, integrated marketing, publishing, media, or a related field
  • Experience in the Beverage/CPG space is required
  • Experience developing and presenting advertiser-facing go-to-market materials and packaging opportunities grounded in editorial and audience insights
  • Experience serving as a strategic cross-functional partner in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills
  • Ability to execute visually impactful presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the advertising and publishing landscape, including digital, social, print, and experiential opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, collaborative approach
  • Ability to move initiatives forward and identify opportunities grounded in brand DNA
  • Ability to connect audience, brand, and marketplace insights to revenue-generating opportunities
  • Strong judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity while balancing strategy and execution
  • Less than 10% travel required to brand events, meetings, or partner-facing opportunities as needed
