About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own major product areas end-to-end, from problem definition and underlying system design through shipping, adoption and iteration
- Lead and develop a small Product team while remaining deeply hands-on
- Turn complex compliance workflows into simple, programmable product experiences scalable across customers, use cases and jurisdictions
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design on product architecture, data models, workflows and technical trade-offs
- Design AI-agent systems that investigate cases, make recommendations and automate compliance work
- Prototype ideas using AI and modern development tools
- Work with customers and internal teams to understand compliance workflows and identify scalable product capabilities
- Define product success metrics, evaluate shipped products using data and customer behavior, and iterate
- Improve Dotfile’s product development processes using AI
- Work directly with the CEO and CTO
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience building software products, including significant ownership of complex B2B or infrastructure products
- Experience managing and developing product people while remaining close to the product
- Deep technical understanding of APIs, data models, system architecture, integrations and technical trade-offs
- Systems thinking focused on primitives, abstractions and scalable product interactions
- Hands-on experience exploring data, prototyping ideas and working directly with engineers and designers
- Experience using LLMs, coding tools and agents to research, analyze, prototype and build
- Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous, complex problems into simple products
- Experience building AI products with attention to evaluation, reliability, observability, human oversight and feedback loops
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with high standards and strong ownership
