About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform physical inspections of dealer inventories and reconcile them to dealer records
Communicate with dealer and home office personnel
Verify collateral, assess condition, and provide prompt and accurate reporting
Schedule and route inspections for efficient completion within required timelines
Use proprietary technology and a company-supplied tablet PC to perform services
Travel to business locations throughout the assigned area
Douglas-Guardian conducts inventory verification and valuation services for manufacturers, banks, and finance companies throughout the United States and Canada

Requirements

What you’ll need

Part-time, as-needed availability
Available during weekday business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius
Comfortable using mobile applications
Detail-oriented and willing to learn
Good communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously
Possess a smartphone (Android or iOS)
Knowledge of inventory finance, retail dealership operations, or floor plan financing beneficial but not required
Willingness to function within a team atmosphere
Work authorization verification through E-Verify after hire
