About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the critical link between SPW scopes and Technology & Innovation
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Elicit, analyze, synthesize, and validate business requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and translate business needs into technical system requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to define project scope, priorities, success criteria, and metrics
- Develop scope documents, use cases, business rules documentation, process models, and process and data diagrams
- Analyze requirements for completeness, feasibility, consistency, and alignment with technical systems and data structures
- Translate conceptual requirements into functional specifications for development teams
- Communicate requirement changes, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
- Participate in quality assurance activities to verify delivered solutions meet defined requirements
- Support testing, communication, solution optimization, project delivery, and operational improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or process improvement required
- Experience documenting functional requirements and supporting technology implementations required
- Successful completion of a background check is required
- 5+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or technology roles, ideally with experience in SPW operations
- Strong process analysis and documentation skills, including process maps, swim lane diagrams, and data flow diagrams
- Experience gathering and translating requirements for ERP, CRM, HRM, or similar operational systems
- Familiarity with CMiC or comparable platforms
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills
- CBAP or similar certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or Business preferred
