About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage customer interactions throughout the order lifecycle, including inquiries, quoting, order processing, fulfillment, and issue resolution
  • Create and maintain accurate sales quotes, sales orders, invoices, and rental or re-rental contracts
  • Coordinate purchasing activities for inventory, drop-ship items, re-rented equipment, and site services
  • Support inventory, equipment, and receiving activities by maintaining accurate records, following inventory control procedures, and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Leverage product and equipment knowledge to support customer decision-making and resolve service-related issues
  • Prioritize daily tasks and manage time effectively to meet service standards
  • Serve as a primary internal point of contact for customers
  • Ensure accurate order processing, timely issue resolution, and consistent service delivery
  • Support revenue growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of related experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales operations required
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction supplies, equipment industry, or a related field preferred
  • Strong product knowledge and process expertise
  • None required for certifications and licenses
