About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify Division 10 scope and requirements
  • Complete accurate material takeoffs and assist with project estimating
  • Create and manage purchase orders with vendors and manufacturers
  • Track material production, shipping, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers, field teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure project success
  • Prepare and process customer invoices and assist with project billing activities
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates on orders and deliveries
  • Research suppliers and support sourcing of goods and services
  • Prepare and coordinate product data and related documentation
  • Create and process purchase orders; review order acknowledgements to validate quantities, pricing, and delivery terms
  • Place and track orders, confirm estimated delivery dates, and communicate status updates
  • Verify delivered items and support resolution of receiving, quality, or documentation discrepancies
  • Partner with estimating and project stakeholders to develop pricing, prepare material proposals, and support competitive bid responses
  • Track and reconcile procurement documentation and basic financial data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement support, purchasing, construction operations support, or a related function required
  • Experience preparing procurement documentation, including product data, purchase orders, and order acknowledgements, required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, required
  • Experience using document management or markup tools, such as Bluebeam, preferred
