About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage, and develop construction project teams through expectations, development plans, training, coaching, feedback, and performance oversight
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, monitor progress, and resolve escalated and complex issues
  • Maintain consistent field presence and lead participation in safety meetings, including stretch and flex
  • Demonstrate fluency in high-risk activities to drive safe, planned, and controlled project outcomes
  • Oversee and approve procurement of project materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders
  • Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions
  • Review project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference
  • Partner with the Superintendent to implement project-specific quality and safety programs
  • Manage project financials, contract administration, risk management, and complex stakeholder negotiations to achieve financial targets and mitigate risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required
  • 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
  • OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire required
  • Advanced knowledge of construction activities, methodologies, and industry standards
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Experience with project financials, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder negotiations
