About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage construction project individuals and provide full project leadership for end-to-end delivery
- Resolve complex execution, stakeholder, and risk-related issues
- Oversee construction project execution, timelines, quality standards, and field presence
- Manage and develop project engineers, assistant project managers, and the broader project team
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Lead procurement of project materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors
- Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders
- Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions
- Review project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference
- Partner with the Superintendent to implement project-specific quality and safety programs
- Lead safety meetings and promote safe, planned, and controlled project outcomes
- Own project financials, contract administration, risk management, and complex stakeholder negotiations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required
- 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire required
- Advanced knowledge of construction activities, methodologies, and industry standards
- Experience managing project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Experience with project financials, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder negotiations
