About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead purchasing operations and demand planning activities supporting enterprise material needs
- Manage purchasing specialists, including workload coordination, performance management, and development
- Oversee purchase order execution, transfers, and stocked purchasing activities
- Develop and maintain aggregated demand forecasts and item-level demand plans
- Identify and aggregate material and service demand across internal entities
- Analyze forecast data and market intelligence to adjust planning assumptions and communicate impacts
- Establish forecasting governance, inventory optimization, and supplier alignment processes
- Monitor purchasing and demand planning performance metrics and implement corrective actions
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize inventory strategies and improve procurement performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, or procurement operations required
- 2-4 years of experience leading purchasing teams or coordinating team workload required
- Experience developing forecasts, demand plans, or inventory strategies required
- Experience using ERP, procurement, or forecasting systems required
