About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and manage a quality network supporting Self-Perform Work (SPW) operations
- Oversee development and implementation of SPW quality strategies focused on prevention, standardization, constructability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional managers, project leadership, and craft supervision on quality assurance programs
- Review quality needs and drive adoption of standardized field quality practices
- Provide training and facilitation and reinforce quality ownership and accountability
- Review complex quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Oversee quality frameworks and processes for self-performed scopes
- Facilitate cross-functional quality review meetings and evaluate performance trends and quality data
- Manage quality coordinators and others performing SPW quality functions
- Manage quality processes during project pursuit, preconstruction, planning, procurement, and constructability reviews
- Monitor quality execution during construction activities
- Investigate SPW quality non-conformance items
- Track and analyze SPW quality metrics and recommend targeted improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7-9 years of experience in Self-Perform Work (SPW), project management, quality assurance, quality control, or a related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in a managerial capacity required
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification required
- Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) “A” license preferred
