About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead category strategies and complex sourcing initiatives across multiple spend areas or high-impact categories
  • Develop and execute category strategies, including multi-year roadmaps and sourcing pipelines
  • Conduct advanced spend, market, and supplier analyses
  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events, including bid strategy, stakeholder alignment, commercial modeling, risk mitigation, performance, quality, and supplier negotiations
  • Structure and manage preferred supplier programs, framework agreements, and master service agreements
  • Establish category governance and supplier performance routines, including scorecards, corrective actions, business reviews, and risk mitigation plans
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Risk stakeholders to drive program adoption, compliance, and resolution of escalated supplier issues
  • Develop and deliver category performance reporting covering financial impact, service performance, and supplier compliance trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or supply chain operations required
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and influencing cross-functional stakeholders required
  • Experience supporting construction, material distribution, or project-based sourcing environments preferred
