About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development and execution of complex and strategic project cost estimates
Prepare and validate comprehensive cost estimates for complex or high-value projects
Direct multidisciplinary teams in reviewing project documentation, analyzing risks, and assessing constructability
Develop and implement advanced estimating tools, methodologies, and benchmarking processes
Advise executive leadership and project sponsors on cost strategies, risk mitigation, and value engineering pricing
Negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and partners on pricing and contractual terms
Evaluate estimating performance, capture lessons learned, and institutionalize leading practices
Mentor team members on complex estimating processes and procedures
Coordinate with project teams, external partners, Family of Companies, and Self Perform work teams on pricing, scope, estimates, schedules, and project budgets
Communicate expert insights to clients and stakeholders to support business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Life Science experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required
6–8 years of experience in estimating, cost analysis, project controls, or a related field required
1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred
No certifications or licenses required
