About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide finance support for programs and significant national defense contracts
  • Provide timely and accurate schedule and cost performance metrics using Earned Value or related processes
  • Support baseline development and development of charge numbers and WBS
  • Update program information in ERP or Cobra tools
  • Analyze and report budget performance variances and assist with recovery plans
  • Analyze and report risks and opportunities affecting baseline cost, schedule, and EAC
  • Maintain the Project-Activity Structure and charge numbers
  • Complete the Estimate at Complete process and support time-phased ETC updates and EAC packages
  • Develop and monitor program-level time-phased plans for revenue forecasting, budgeting, and five-year planning
  • Provide financial data, analysis, and variance narratives for PMRs and QBRs
  • Provide timely invoicing and collection of customer receivables
  • Review and communicate program financial status, including funding and funding subject to cancellation
  • Support Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Schedulers in meeting program objectives and completing tasks on schedule and within budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Current in-scope Secret security clearance is required
  • Required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • 3–5 years of Analyst or related experience
  • Able to use EVMS principles in daily operations with proven expertise
  • Knowledge of program financial controls with DoD programs
  • Knowledge of CAS/FAR/DFARS
  • Knowledge of contract types including FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, and T&M
  • Knowledge of accounting subject matters, including revenue recognition
  • Ability to present complex information to all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft software applications
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
