Derive detailed component-level requirements from system-level directives
Maintain requirements traceability matrices linking requirements to architecture, design, and test artifacts
Write clear, measurable, and verifiable requirements
Create and manage SysML models using tools such as MagicDraw
Conduct trade-space analyses and integrate digital twins and digital threads
Lead Service Oriented Architecture solutions and cross-domain data workflows
Develop Python scripts and tools for requirements analysis and validation
Follow the Quality Management System and engineering standards
Identify process gaps and champion best-practice adoption
Lead small technical teams, delegate tasks, track progress, and ensure quality deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and interns
Engage customers and internal partners to identify business opportunities
Manage assignment scope, schedule, and cost; communicate status to stakeholders
Identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and execute them
Coordinate, schedule, and participate in requirements assessments
Support strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design
Translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements and solutions
Lead formal and informal evaluations and analyses
Analyze assessment results and recommend improvements
Drive solutions to complex problems and contribute to task planning and test development
