About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end execution of the Sovereign AI roadmap
- Manage the full lifecycle of Sovereign AI projects from planning through delivery
- Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Build new programs from scratch and scale them into durable, repeatable operations
- Drive alignment across Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Design teams
- Maintain accurate visibility into project status, blockers, and timelines
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders, management, and external government stakeholders
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, resource constraints, and high-risk dependencies
- Drive resolution of problems and unblock teams
- Partner with senior leadership and domain leads to align roadmap priorities with strategic goals
- Frame tradeoff options and drive decision-making alignment
- Consolidate competing requests from Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance into a unified roadmap
- Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines, and priorities
- Own operational aspects of commercial launches for the ATLAS product suite, including billing and pricing operations and developer platform operations
- Improve processes, rituals, and tools to increase team effectiveness
- Partner with Engineering and Research to automate manual operational work using AI
- Manage parallel workstreams across Security, AML, Critical Infrastructure, platform, and AI/ML domains
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in program management or technical project management
- Experience ideally gained at a high-growth technology company
- Track record of building programs from 0 to 1 and scaling them into durable operations
- Experience with commercial launches, billing and pricing operations, or developer platform operations
- Ability to operate with high agency and make decisions with incomplete information
- Strong prioritization judgment across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance priorities
- Experience partnering with Engineering and Research teams to replace manual operational work with AI automation
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without authority and holding people accountable
- Strong curiosity about technology, customer problems, and system architecture
- Strong technical proficiency sufficient to understand ML models, data pipelines, APIs, and system architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivation to build the operational backbone for the ATLAS product suite
- Experience in defense or AI/ML environments is nice to have
- Understanding of procurement cycles, compliance requirements, and working with sovereign entities is nice to have
- Background in engineering or a technical discipline is nice to have
