About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive quarterly feature release activities and monthly updates
- Define and drive best practices and consistency in the release process
- Ensure product releases are on schedule and meet quality standards
- Identify and manage dependencies across matrixed teams
- Communicate release progress status to the company and drive issues to closure
- Collaborate closely with Customer Support to assure that customer satisfaction is high
- Define and drive release processes spanning all aspects of the company
- Work closely with Development, Product, and Customer Support teams to execute the product release strategy
- Lead release and launch activities related to the software product
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in software release management or equivalent
- Experience with enterprise level software development management tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent cross-group/cross-discipline skills
- Industry experience delivering software services at scale
- Experience with managing globally-based teams (bonus points)
- Experience with agile methodologies and processes (bonus points)
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (bonus points)
- Experience with and a passion for data-driven decision making (bonus points)
