About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist senior developers and business stakeholders in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving JDE application issues
Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of JD Edwards enhancements, reports, and customizations
Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and assist with feasibility assessments for system improvements
Contribute to SDLC activities, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with functional and technical team members to deliver assigned tasks on time and within project expectations
Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and development specifications
Provide production support and investigate application issues across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution modules
Maintain system integrity through testing, troubleshooting, and solution validation
Learn and apply JDE development standards, best practices, and emerging ERP technologies
Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement within the IT team
Work onsite in a climate-controlled office environment with prolonged periods of sitting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Foundational experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) development and support
Strong knowledge of JDE Development Toolsets (9.0), including Object Management Workbench (OMW), Object Librarian (OL), Data Dictionary (DD), Table Browser, Debugging Tools, Forms, UBE (reports), Named Event Rule (NER), Business Functions, and Processing Options
Hands-on BI Publisher experience required
Minimum of 5-10 years of JDE experience required
Experience with JDE Workflow, C programming, and SQL procedures is a plus
Exposure to Bottomline Transform is an added advantage
Preferred knowledge of JDE Security, Job Scheduler, and JDE System Administration
Basic understanding of CNC processes and administration
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with all levels of the company
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Onsite presence five days per week
