About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise clients on the operational and strategic implementation of the GDPR
Act as an external Data Protection Officer (or deputy) as required
Support organizations in the legally compliant implementation of AI solutions
Assess tools for data protection compliance and requirements such as the AI Act
Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
Conduct external audits
Develop practical data protection policies and concepts
Conduct workshops and coaching sessions to raise awareness of the secure handling of sensitive data
Establish and audit Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
Lead related IT compliance projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid professional experience as a Data Protection Consultant, Privacy Manager, or IT Compliance Consultant
Relevant certifications, such as DSB TÜV/DEKRA or CIPP/E, are preferred
Strong affinity for IT and technology, particularly AI technologies, cloud architectures, and their legally compliant use
Solution-oriented and structured approach, combined with a strong hands-on mentality
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients
Team player
Very good German and good English language skills
Knowledge of IT security, such as ISO 27001, TISAX, and NIS2, is an advantage
