Key responsibilities & impact

Own project delivery from contract signing through final delivery and client sign-off
Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET
Implement business logic and integrations with databases and external services
Write clear, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
Troubleshoot defects and support backend system reliability and performance
Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers, QA, and business stakeholders
Contribute to technical documentation and improve development practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Around 3–5 years of professional backend development experience
Strong skills in C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming
Experience building or maintaining REST APIs
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including writing and troubleshooting queries
Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of common software design principles, security practices, and application troubleshooting
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred: Experience with ASP.NET Core and modern .NET development
Preferred: Experience maintaining applications built with ASP.NET or .NET Framework
Preferred: Familiarity with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
Preferred: Experience with SQL Server; exposure to Oracle is a plus
Preferred: Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud or container-based deployments
Ability to use AI coding assistants effectively for code exploration, routine code drafting, debugging, and documentation
Ability to review, validate, and test AI-generated suggestions
Ability to use AI tools responsibly in accordance with company rules for confidential code, customer data, and other sensitive information
