About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inspect and test chemical application systems and wash equipment
- Troubleshoot issues and make repairs or adjustments
- Manage multiple customer sites across the assigned geography
- Train customers in proper operation of chemicals and equipment
- Service car wash equipment through repair, maintenance, replacement installations, chemical testing, and inventory management
- Complete onsite inspection reports and notify site and corporate leaders of issues or corrective actions
- Resolve customer technical challenges and assist with process improvements
- Communicate with customers, team members, and cross-functional support employees by phone, virtually, and face to face
- Maintain safe work and vehicle-driving habits
- Travel to assigned customer sites to provide service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Live in the greater Johnson City, TN area
- 2+ years Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude in electrical and pipefitting preferred
- Ability to work remotely on installations
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities/change in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in performing technical/mechanical on-site maintenance and testing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including some overnight travel
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
