About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, validate, and process music royalty statements from major distributors and DSPs
- Investigate inconsistencies, missing information, and data quality issues
- Transform complex financial reports into standardized datasets used throughout the company
- Build Python tools to automate repetitive workflows
- Identify opportunities to improve processing speed, accuracy, and scalability
- Work closely with engineers to build internal tools that streamline statement processing
- Collaborate with Investment and Research teams to ensure processed data supports pricing and underwriting decisions
- Monitor operational metrics and recommend improvements
- Help design new workflows as Duetti continues to scale
- Transform raw royalty statements into reliable, structured, and actionable data
- Work closely with Engineering, Research, Investment, Finance, and Product teams to continuously improve a core operational engine
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying anomalies
- Ability to balance accuracy with speed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuously improving processes
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Experience working with financial reports or operational datasets
- Experience with ETL pipelines or data engineering workflows
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, or data visualization tools
- Experience in music, streaming, royalties, or financial technology
- Experience using AI tools to automate operational workflows
