About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the full PMC project portfolio
  • Coordinate cross-functional work, advance portfolio performance, monitor and report metrics, and lead initiatives across System Planning and Construction
  • Provide enterprise and portfolio oversight and governance, keeping leaders and stakeholders aligned and informed
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in business-specific processes and data
  • Plan and manage improvement initiatives across PMC and lead projects spanning multiple functions and processes
  • Design, revise, and implement solutions aligned with PMC and enterprise needs
  • Convert data and process information into insights for the generation modernization portfolio
  • Craft solutions to complex business and portfolio challenges
  • Lead analytics workstreams for execution project portfolios
  • Create business intelligence products, dashboards, visualizations, and advanced analytics reports
  • Partner with Information Technology teams to prototype and demonstrate products
  • Expand monthly portfolio tracking and reporting for interconnection, transmission, supply chain, and project handoff activities
  • Support jurisdictional A3 management and related decision-making
  • Track and monitor strategic and financial approvals and reporting for Core Team, TRC, SMC, and Board of Directors activities
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve high-impact, complex, cross-functional issues
  • Plan and coordinate complex business and technology studies and projects
  • Develop analytical models, recommendations, predictive models, web prototypes, data visualizations, automated processes, and scalable data solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Business, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering, or another related discipline, and nine years of related work experience
  • Alternatively, high school diploma/GED and 15+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience
  • Utility industry experience preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of PMC work processes preferred
  • Budgeting or financial analysis experience preferred
  • Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
