About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the single point of business accountability for EPC contractor relationships across the Gas Generation Program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with EPC partners and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Legal, Project Management, Construction, and Project Controls teams on contractor performance, issue resolution, commercial matters, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor program-wide EPC performance and identify trends, risks, lessons learned, and opportunities for improved execution
  • Lead efforts to identify and address systemic issues affecting multiple projects, contractors, or workstreams
  • Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle and resolve commercial and execution challenges
  • Coordinate construction and project performance reporting across stakeholders
  • Support monthly program reporting, executive dashboards, and governance materials for senior leadership
  • Facilitate cross-functional reviews focused on contractor performance, program health, risk mitigation, and execution excellence
  • Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the Gas Generation program
  • Manage or assist management of project planning and execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration
  • Manage project/program funding and budgeting
  • Provide leadership, decision making, coordination, and control of assigned projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 plus years work related experience, OR High School/GED and 11 years related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience leading complex capital projects (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • MBA, Master's degree, PMP, PE, AACE, or other relevant professional certification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with utility operations, project controls, commercial management, and contract administration (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills (preferred)
  • Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Travel requirements of 15–25%
  • Must possess all basic/required qualifications to be considered
