  • Creates and maintains joint use notifications with other utilities
  • Dispatches daily work to field performers
  • Maintains office records and confidential company/employee information
  • Orders office supplies and manages incoming/outgoing mail and packages
  • Assists managers with meeting minutes, action items, and office logistics
  • Applies correct general ledger accounting and processes vendor invoices
  • Reconciles work order materials, labor, and equipment
  • Resolves errors and prepares construction work orders for close-out
  • Processes timesheets, credit card reconciliations, expense reports, invoices, and customer billing
  • Provides emergency restoration support, including dispatching, updating, emergency locates, oil-spill reporting, meter pinging, and ETOR updates
  • Supports reliability programs and processes using work management applications
  • Participates in safety meetings and follows office safety guidelines
  • Supports corporate initiatives and administers special projects across work groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School/GED
  • Demonstrates excellent customer skills
  • Exhibits flexibility and dependability during normal work schedule and emergency storm restoration
  • Collaborates effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Possesses effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • One to three years of providing customer service support
  • Effectively manages stressful situations
  • Must live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility
  • Reliable, consistent transportation is required
  • Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
