About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide enterprise-level architecture, design, and support of telecommunications services for infrastructure and business applications
Evaluate, acquire, design, install, integrate, test, upgrade, support, and monitor telecommunications hardware and software solutions
Develop and maintain routine work procedures and define standard designs, installation, support, and upgrade methodologies
Provide engineering and technical expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving well-defined problems
Contribute to team decision-making through planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring work activities
Prepare technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches
Conduct engineering and related studies and complete routine projects with minimal oversight
Design, operate, and maintain systems with minimal impact on existing systems
Monitor system performance, identify problem areas, evaluate load efficiency, interface operability, and service availability
Provide metric reports and recommend solutions to resolve issues
Coordinate work activities and maintain accurate records and files
Maintain current industry knowledge and leverage emerging technologies
Support company goals and represent the company positively and professionally

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree
Minimum 2 years related work experience
In lieu of an Associate degree and 2 years related work experience: High School/GED and 5 years related work experience
One year experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and MS Office
Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with position-specific technical software and hardware
Computer skills, including general usage and support
Ability to research independently, multitask, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficient knowledge of telecommunications systems, associated safety policies, practices, work procedures, and regulatory requirements
Ability to work effectively in a work-plan-driven/team environment
Ability to prioritize activities and focus team efforts based on priority
Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
