About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders and senior management
Ensure technical feasibility
Create detailed work plans and sequence project activities
Execute projects according to the project plan
Develop forms and records to document project activities
Organize and secure project information
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
Establish stakeholder communication schedules and provide progress updates
Communicate with funders according to funding agreements
Monitor and approve budgeted project expenditures
Prioritize and document requirements comprehensively
Deliver solutions on schedule through effective interaction with clients, suppliers and internal production teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years’ experience and above in Project Management, preferably within Banking/FinTech or Insurance
Proven experience managing projects within Risk, Regulatory and Compliance environments
Strong Delivery Management experience
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and technology environments
Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, issue management and dependencies
Experience working within regulated financial services environments
Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Information Technology or a related field
Recognized Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or an equivalent PM certification
Strong planning, coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project environments would be advantageous
Legal right to work in South Africa without employer sponsorship
