About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess manufacturing, quality, and shop-floor workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Lead workshops and interviews to document functional and technical needs.
Configure Solumina modules including Work Instructions, Routing, NCR, MRB, and Quality.
Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Create and execute test plans and support UAT.
Contribute to training, documentation, and communication for new features.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate defect resolution.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT to align MES capabilities with operations.
Recommend enhancements to improve usability, data integrity, and efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
3–5+ years as a Business Analyst in manufacturing or aerospace/defense.
Experience with Solumina MES (preferred) or other MES/MOM systems.
Functional knowledge of SAP PP, QM, SM; ability to debug transactions.
ABAP, IDoc, PI/PO configuration, event handling, TVARV/SPRO experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes.
Skilled in requirements documentation and process mapping.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Solumina iSeries or G8 (preferred).
Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA CPI or other ERP integrations (Oracle, etc.) (preferred).
Understanding of aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).
