Key responsibilities & impact

Install and inspect components relating to sheetrock, fireplaces, kitchen soffits, stairways and door preparation
Install components within a controlled environment
Identify materials needed using purchase orders
Ensure compliance with appropriate codes
Maintain inventory, tools and supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Work safely and follow all safety policies, including wearing appropriate PPE
Maintain a favorable working relationship with employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans and work orders for projects
Understands standard workflow and the time frame needed to complete each stage
Proficient knowledge of core tools and appropriate use: tape measurer, hammer, drill, level, saw, nail gun, staple gun, screw gun and framing square
Strict attention to detail and order accuracy
Ability to perform physical work overhead for extended periods
Ability to use mathematics and measuring devices to calculate length, width, height and depth
Ability to follow written and spoken instructions
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license
