Key responsibilities & impact

Work with customers to understand user requirements
Provide SME support to other Natural/ADABAS developers, including SME knowledge of existing systems, the business, and customer needs
Design solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements
Develop software using Natural with ADABAS
Develop and maintain software processes to transfer files using Connect Direct
Develop and maintain queues and flows using IBM MQ
Develop and maintain application software connections using Software AG’s Entire X Communicator (Broker)
Use Atlassian tools including JIRA for requirements tracking

What you’ll need

15+ years of experience on large scale applications in a mainframe environment
5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements
Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS
Expert proficiency working with customers to define requirements
Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems
Top Secret (T5 or T5R)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, balance, and effectively advance multiple competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to interact in a professional and collaborative manner with fellow Dynanet Teammates, clients, and business partners
Ability and desire to challenge and educate yourself to support and advance IT services delivery in the Federal agencies served
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to respond to team member and client requests via email, MS Teams, or other communication means during core business hours
Active listening and collaboration skills
