About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build internal AI applications
- Write production-grade code and develop specific features for internal platforms
- Build backend services and integrate them with front-end interfaces for internal teams
- Connect proprietary data with LLMs using established APIs and emerging agent development frameworks
- Test and deploy code within existing cloud infrastructure
- Develop highly available, reliable, secure, and performant APIs, microservices, and internal web portals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience writing and deploying robust services using Python or Node.js
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or TypeScript
- General experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run and Vertex AI
- Basic Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
- Experience with containerized deployments such as Docker and Cloud Run
- Strong experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Comfortable working independently and delivering tasks on time
- Excitement to work with LLMs and basic agentic systems
- Able to commit to at least 4 hours of daily overlap with UK business hours (09:00–17:00 GMT/BST)
- Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English (CEFR C1/C2)
