Drive rapid development in an AI-assisted environment
Set technical direction as a senior individual contributor
Mentor teammates
Apply strict human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise code produced with AI coding assistants such as Claude and Amazon Q Developer
Write, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular 21 front-end code
Use AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks
Ensure AI-generated outputs adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards
Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience operating at a senior or technical-lead level
Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot, Angular (version 17 or higher), PostgreSQL, and AWS environments
4+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot
4+ years of experience in Angular
3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL
Demonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows
Excellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker (desirable but not mandatory)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (desirable but not mandatory)
Experience working in Agile development environments (desirable but not mandatory)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (desirable but not mandatory)
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams (desirable but not mandatory)
