About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services
  • Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
  • Participate in security compliance efforts

  • Perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
  • Conduct acquisition and vendor risk assessment due diligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor of Science Information Technology or a related field of study - 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Cloud infrastructure
  • Perform security assessment checks on the cloud protection platform
  • Assess service provider security controls and controls inherited by child entities
  • Technical skills with auditing tools, intrusion detection/protection devices, security Benchmarks, Incident Response Handling, and NIST frameworks and publications
  • Provide security suggestions on implementation of best security practices in the DevSecOps process
  • Experience with cloud security platforms in production, development, quality-assurance and staging environments
  • Experience architecting, designing, implementing, supporting, and evaluating security-focused tools and services
  • Experience developing and interpreting security policies and procedures
  • Desired: CISSP or Security+ certification as a minimum
  • Working experience and knowledge of AWS GovCloud or Azure Government, Security Controls, NIST RMF
  • Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions
  • Good understanding of cloud security, application security, and cybersecurity
  • Good operating systems and networking environments
